It has been a year since I lost my baby girl to stillbirth. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. It continues to amaze me that I can miss her so much, having known her only a short time. Up until about 3 months ago I would wake up reliving the day in the hospital when I found out my daughter had no heartbeat.
In about 2 months I will join together with other families that have lost their treasured child. We will meet at The District in Tustin and honor our children. We will walk for the steps they will never take. It is an emotional day, but a day that is filled with hope. We are families that are hopeful for a better tomorrow, and believe that we will survive this.
